CNC Lathe Machinist – 1st Shift
Location: Sharon, TN
Pay: $22 - $30/Hour
3 Month Contract to Direct Position
We are looking for a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist with experience in G-code programming to join our team. As a machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts. This is not a machine operator role; we are seeking someone with hands-on machining experience and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize machine processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setup, program, and operate CNC lathe machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code programs.
- Ensure that parts meet high-quality standards and specifications.
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to achieve optimal performance.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Shift Information:
- Monday through Friday
- 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM (with a 30-minute lunch break)
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC machinist, not just a machine operator.
- Strong knowledge of G-code programming.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems as they arise.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with CNC lathe setups.
