Die Shop Machinist - 6 pm to 6 am shift

Job Summary:

12 hour shift - 6pm-6am

The Die Shop Machinist is responsible for maintaining all Die Shop equipment to help meet production needs. Perform all PM work and follow lube schedules.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform all work-related functions in a safe and orderly manner
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment. Lube and grease as well as minor repairs.
• Work closely with maintenance and service contractors to repair equipment
• Ability to understand all aspects of machining
• Performs other duties as assigned
  
  

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills
• Must be able to communicate well with others
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints and measuring instruments
• Must be able to work as part of a team
• Work schedule flexibility, with or without notice, to accommodate the needs of the business
  
  

Education and Experience:

• Must have mechanical aptitude and be able to operate safely with task appropriate quality and productivity.
• Trained and certified through AFUSA's safety program
• Machining background
• CNC maintenance training
• Forklift certified
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Continuous amounts of standing.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
