SUMMARY
The Electro Mechanical Assembler is primary responsible for fitting and assembling electromechanical equipment and machines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Employees must spend over 50% of their time on these duties.
- Performs any combination of following tasks to assemble mechanical or electronic components and subassemblies : Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
- Builds & tests a varied range of precision mechanical assemblies and / or electronic assemblies to an elevated level of quality and efficiency using crimpers, small hand tools and soldering equipment.
- Performs housekeeping and clean up duties upon completion of assigned tasks.
- Periodically performs job tasks while viewing work through a microscope.
- Provide advanced manufacturability inputs to reduce product cost and increase reliability.
- Other projects and tasks assigned by the Company from time to time.
