Role:
- Operate the Amada laser cutting machine and other machinery used in the sheet metal department or assist other machine operators.
- Prepare sheet metal for delivery to brake press operators
- Lift raw materials, final products, and items prepped for shipment, manually, or using overhead crane and forklift.
- Operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators.
- Experience cycle counting sheet metal
- Maintain a strict preventive maintenance program
- Select and set up lenses based on material type and thickness, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment.
- Knowledge about nozzles used during laser cutting operation.
- Knowledge nesting software and maximizing sheet utilization (Radan Software experience preferred)
- Monitor fill level of bulk tank system and report reordering levels to the supervisor.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
Salary : $22 - $28
