Mechanical Project Engineer

We seek an experienced professional to drive our solution-based business model, enhancing lab safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
About the Job:
The Associate Project Engineer plays a vital role in our core services. In this hands-on position, you will collaborate with project teams and clients to develop solutions that improve the safety and efficiency of ventilation systems in laboratories and critical workspaces. You will provide technical expertise from concept to project completion.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct ventilation-related tests of workspace environments, HVAC systems, and controls.
- Design testing methods to ensure a sound engineering/technical approach.
- Evaluate building control systems for functionality and compliance with industry standards.
- Identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption.
- Manage the execution and timely completion of ventilation optimization projects and programs.
- Compile testing results into reports with graphical and written descriptions.
- Conduct energy analysis and efficiency assessments.
- Present technical information to stakeholders.
- Develop project plans, including detailed calculations, drawings, diagrams, and specifications.
- Build strong client relationships through technical expertise, communication, safety, and energy savings.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a project engineer or facility manager.
- Experience with laboratory/critical environment HVAC systems, building controls, and/or energy management.
- Ability to travel to various project locations (estimated 25% travel), primarily within the U.S.
