Quality Control Technician Job Duties:
- Characterizes the defect on purchased parts (5W2H) and writes the relevant reports (Client: Non-conformity reports) with the objective to limit production disturbances.
- Secures the production line ensuring that no other defective part is available with a clear mapping (physical identification and parts in restricted area).
- Organizes the re-feeding to the line with new conform parts within the takt-time of the line (if part is available in stocks).
- Organizes the first level of containment with management of control and sorting activities (internal, and coordination for supplier).
- Blocks (or ask to block) stock for non-conform parts.
- Asks for new control key in ERP for incoming inspection for upcoming deliveries and provide inspection criteria.
- Creates Non-conformity reports in ERP and SQP (Supplier Quality Portal).
- Notifies Client to supplier via Supplier Quality Portal tool (Client module) for Client with supplier or expertise liability.
- Manages relevant supplier rework activities.
- Participates in daily and weekly meetings with various stakeholders.
- Ensure the application of safety guidelines and proper use of manufacturing equipment.
- Enforces the application of prevention plans.
- Takes all required actions when confronted with any hazard.
