Required Skills
- Subsystem design, analysis, schematic capture, circuit board layout, prototyping, bring-up and debugging, hardware bug tracking, functional verification and signal characterization, test and support through production.
Required Skills
- 3 years of experience with designing and implementing of analog, digital or mixed-signal circuit boards from concept through production using operational amplifiers, filters, and transistors, analog to digital and digital to analog converters, power supply components, multi-GHz Serdes, DRAM interfaces (DDR4), CAN, I2C, Ethernet, SPI, FPGAs, ASICs, and processors
- 3 years of experience with testing/troubleshooting/qualification techniques, signal integrity, layout and grounding principles
- 3 years of experience with DFx (EMC, EMI, reliability, manufacturability, test, etc.)
- Experience working with Gigabit Ethernet PHY and 802.3af / at PoE circuitry
- power system and circuit design techniques for DC/DC, AC/DC, and various topologies (buck, boost, buck/boost, flyback, flybuck, et al)
- Experience in highspeed interface design: JESD, LVDS, multi gigabit Ethernet, USB etc.. Signal integrity design and verification with the above buses are crucial to this position.
- Strong emphasis on full lifecycle development of new hardware systems -- not small incremental updates to legacy hardware
- Strong understanding of computers, programming languages, scripting tools and automation (C/C , Python, Matlab, etc.)
- Ability to work in a fast paced, autonomously driven, and demanding start-up atmosphere
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience with RTOS, embedded systems
- Knowledge of networking and internetworking concepts and technologies (Ethernet OSI Layers TCP/IP packet inspection and analysis, application protocols)
- Familiarity with Altium design suite or similar
- Wireless or Communications products experience is a strong plus
- BS or MS in either Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of industry experience developing real-world products or systems
- Willingness / ability to travel occasionally for customer visits / supplier visits
- Self-motivated personality and ability to work independently as well as on a team
- Ability to multi-task between two or more projects
- Must be US Citizen
Salary : $120,000 - $180,000
