Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promote a "zero injury " safety culture by conducting daily safety meetings with site personnel within the company's chain of custody.
- Ensure Job Site Analysis (JSA) is appropriate for the work/task to be performed.
- Continuously evaluate the work site for potential hazards or unsafe conditions.
- Ensure all personnel use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate to the site or tasks and adhere to incident reporting procedures.
- Perform or assist in site safety inductions (Site Owner) for all subcontractors or visitors.
- Maintain daily sign-in records (subcontractors or visitors).
- Manage RFI (Request for Information) and CO (Change Order) requests from Owner/subcontractors with PM to validate the scope of work/supply.
- Ensure RFI and CO requests are documented and approved by PM before work commences.
- Use the company construction management system to document:
- Site safety inductions (including subcontractors)
- Observations (near misses, injuries, STOP WORK events, accidents)
- Subcontractor safety violations/notifications
- Daily reports & photos
- Drawings, redlines, specifications, RFIs, Submittals, COs, etc.
- Prepare work planning using Lookaheads.
- Document incidents, inspections, and punch lists.
- Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings to plan upcoming work using Lookaheads.
- Establish a minimum cadence of periodic "project walks " with Owner representatives to review work in progress.
- Coordinate with PM and schedule subcontractors for upcoming project work based on Lookaheads.
- Coordinate inspections and communication timelines/outcomes with PM.
- Monitor, verify, and inspect materials supplied by Owner, subcontractors, or client to maintain project schedule.
- Manage the quality of work performed.
- Monitor the safety of work performed.
- Manage the productivity of work performed (including resources at the site by subcontractors).
- Initiate corrective action with subcontractors for site safety, quality, or lack of productivity, and document in Procore. Communicate and follow up with PM.
- Attend weekly Owner meetings conducted by PM.
Salary : $55 - $65
