Now Hiring : Piping / Mechanical Lead Engineer
Location : Glenshaw, PA
Shift : 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
Scope
We are seeking an experienced Piping / Mechanical Lead Engineer to coordinate the technical and administrative activities of the piping group. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing work plans, developing reports, and leading projects for industrial piping work. You will collaborate with Owners and others in the preparation of piping design packages and interface with client engineers through both written and verbal communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a four (4) year accredited college or university
- Minimum of 15 years of Piping / Mechanical Engineering experience in an industrial environment
- Possession of an EIT license and PE license, or ability to obtain one
- Strong knowledge of power generation and industrial facilities operations
- In-depth understanding of Industry Codes and Standards, especially ASME B31.1 & B31.3
- Experience in pipe stress analysis
- Proven experience in planning and scheduling for piping design projects
- Ability to read and interpret piping drawings and 3D plant models
- Skilled in conducting field investigations and defining project scope
