Location: Winchester, KY
Shift: 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM Job Summary:
We're looking for a reliable Production Associate to help with machining and assembling parts. Your job will be to ensure high-quality production and on-time deliveries to our customers. Responsibilities:
- Attendance & Policies: Show up on time and follow company rules.
- Production & Quality: Follow steps for machining and assembly, and complete daily reports.
- Inspections: Check part quality by measuring and inspecting pieces for accuracy.
- Troubleshooting: Report any issues and help find solutions.
- Labeling: Inspect and label finished parts for delivery.
- Maintenance: Help check machines, including oil and coolant levels.
- Teamwork: Work towards team goals and keep the workplace safe.
- Learning & Training: Participate in training and suggest improvements.
- Other Tasks: Perform other duties as needed.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Training: Any technical training or certifications are a plus.
- Experience: 6 months to 1 year in a factory or similar job preferred. Experience in jobs that require standing for long periods is helpful.
- Skills: Good math and communication skills. Ability to work well with others and train others.
- Mechanical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of machines is helpful.
- Stand for long periods (up to 10 hours), bend, squat, and lift between 10-40 lbs.
- Use your hands and arms to handle parts and tools.
- Work safely around machines and chemicals.
- Work in a manufacturing area with potential hazards. Follow safety rules at all times.
- Stable Work History: We prefer candidates who have had stable jobs in physical roles (e.g., retail, fast food) and can show good attendance.
- Long-Term Commitment: We're looking for people who want to stay long-term and grow with the company. If you've had many short-term jobs, this may not be the right fit.
