Our client is hiring a Quality Engineer to join their team to help ensure that quality standards meets ISO and IATF standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure that the QMS conforms to ISO9001 : 2015, 14001 : 2015 and IATF 16949 : 2016 & is properly utilized.
- Report to Top Management on the performance of the QMS; on opportunities for
- improvement; on change requirements; on innovations.
- Be part of a team that sets & reviews Quality objectives.
- Escalate to Top Management if situation arises
- In the absence of a Department Manager; will assist in the Absent Manager's roles & responsibilities.
- Responsible for the maintenance of the EMS.
- Ensure processes are delivering intended outcomes
- Ensure the promotion of customer focus, work with Customer Scorecards and the review of them, manage any Customer Portals
- Responsible for informing Customer Specific Requirements within the Organization
- Internal Quality Auditor
- Internal / External Calibration
- Performs Inspections When Needed - Receiving to Final Inspection
- Has the authority to stop shipment and stop production to correct quality problems
