Warehouse Technician & Driver
We are looking for a Warehouse Technician & Driver to join our team. Receives, stores, and distributes Audio/Visual material and related products and operates vehicles and transports cargo by performing the following duties. Warehouse experience in a Production or AV company is a major plus!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Warehouse:
- Adhere to company's Global Processes.
- Operate forklift efficiently on a daily basis to pull client assets.
- Able to assist in all aspects of the Warehouse, including Return Inspections, AV Orders, Logistics (i.e. receiving, offloading, and inbound assets) and Staging.
- Maintain client and rental assets in ready to ship condition by ensuring RI is completed for all assets.
- Able to recognize all components necessary for a projects.
- Monitor client and rental assets and report any damages or refurbishment required to the appropriate supervisor.
- Able to work independently and adhere to the production schedule set by the Operations team.
- Recognize client assets from pick list.
- Get pull list signed off by staging supervisor when the pull is complete.
- Learn and understand client needs.
- Pull client and rental assets.
- Restock client and rental assets in its designated area.
- Maintain warehouse in tour ready condition.
Driving:
- Practice safe driving habits.
- Follow all state and national safety regulations and standards.
- Accurately follow routes, maps, and directions.
- Load and unload cargo.
- Keep exterior of vehicle clean and presentable.
- Maintain vehicle equipment; replace oil, fill gas tank, perform general motor vehicle maintenance as needed for safety.
- Clean windows, windshields, and mirrors as needed.
- Keep interior of vehicle clean of debris and clutter.
- Complete documentation such as logs, mileage, or cargo and passenger reports
- Follow schedules and rerouting in a timely manner when faced with traffic or congestion.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Embodies flexibility, open-mindedness and receptivity.
- Actively works out solutions.
- Identifies something valuable in being part of a team and ability to effectively collaborate.
