JOB SUMMARY & SCOPE:
The VP or Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, generate leads, and drive revenue growth. This role oversees key marketing functions, including digital marketing, content strategy, demand generation, product marketing, and brand positioning. The Director will collaborate cross-functionally to align marketing initiatives with business objectives, ensuring measurable impact and brand consistency across all channels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with business objectives and supports revenue goals.
  • Manage and mentor the marketing team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and performance excellence.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Strengthen and refine the company’s brand identity, messaging, and positioning in the market.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels, customer touchpoints, and corporate communications.
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitive dynamics.
  • Plan and execute demand generation programs to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Optimize digital marketing efforts, including SEO, paid media, email marketing, and ABM (Account-Based Marketing).
  • Partner with sales teams to develop marketing campaigns that support lead generation and sales pipeline growth.
  • Support product marketing efforts by developing go-to-market strategies, messaging, and competitive differentiation.
  • Oversee content marketing initiatives, including blogs, case studies, whitepapers, and video content to drive engagement and thought leadership.
  • Develop customer personas and tailor messaging to effectively reach key target audiences.
  • Manage the company’s digital presence, including website optimization, social media, and advertising campaigns.
  • Utilize analytics tools to measure performance, track ROI, and optimize digital marketing strategies.
  • Stay informed on emerging marketing trends and technologies to enhance engagement and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and customer success, to align marketing efforts with broader business goals.
  • Build and manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners to support marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and oversee the marketing budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation for maximum impact.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies to improve effectiveness and efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (required).
  • 7–10 years of marketing experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and revenue growth.
  • Strong expertise in digital marketing, demand generation, content marketing, and brand management.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in marketing technology platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Google Analytics, CRM tools).
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.

PERFORMANCE METRICS:
  • Brand Awareness & Market Positioning – Measured by brand recognition, customer engagement, and media reach.
  • Lead Generation & Conversion – Performance tracked through pipeline growth and sales impact.
  • Campaign Effectiveness – Based on ROI, digital engagement, and content performance.
  • Team Development & Leadership – Assessed through team performance, collaboration, and execution of key initiatives.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & REPORTING:
  • Reports to VP of Marketing or Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
  • Works closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to drive marketing alignment.
  • Supervises marketing team members, providing leadership and professional development.
