Sling Fabricator
Peak Trading Corp. is looking for a skilled and dedicated Sling Fabricator to join our Fabrication Department. As a Sling Fabricator, you will be responsible for creating precise wire rope slings and custom assemblies tailored to specific project requirements. You will also ensure strict adherence to both industry standards and company safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture wire rope slings and custom assemblies with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Follow safety procedures, especially when operating machinery such as hydraulic presses, cut-off saws, and other fabrication tools.
- Operate hand tools (e.g., saws, hammers, crimpers) and power tools with confidence.
- Navigate basic computer systems to process jobs, input data, and track orders.
Skills and Requirements:
- Proficiency with measuring tools, calculators, and hand tools (e.g., saws, hammers, crimpers).
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of safety awareness, especially when using hydraulic presses and other equipment.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift.
- Comfortably work on your feet throughout the day, with the ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects as needed.
- Physical strength and mechanical aptitude to work with larger assemblies efficiently.
