Founded in 2022, Peak Utility Locators is looking to set the industry standard for both employee and client satisfaction.
Peak provides Underground Utility Locating, Concrete Scanning, Vacuum Excavation, and CCTV Pipe Inspection services to engineering firms, surveyors, general contractors, and more.
Peak is looking for professional, customer-centric, and ambitious field personnel to join our team. Prior locating experienced is not required, but a strong work ethic and positive attitude is! As a growing company, Peak is looking to expand in many new and exciting ways. Ambitious candidates who are excited to help push the company forward are encouraged to apply. No previous utility locating experience is required, however compensation will be commensurate with experience.

As a Utility Line Locator, training is critical. Peak believes in fully training all staff to ensure that our clients receive a quality service each and every time. The successful candidate will receive a well-rounded training program which includes both classroom and field experiences. Once fully trained, the position is responsible for locating and marking underground utility lines at job sites throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. This position requires an individual who is comfortable working outdoors, has great communication skills, and has experience with the use of specialized tools and equipment. Once fully trained, all field technicians receive a company vehicle and all tools required to complete jobs safely and effectively. The ideal candidate should also be able to follow safety protocols and possess strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Locate underground utility lines using specialized equipment.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Communicate with construction site personnel, engineers, and other utility line locators.
- Understand and follow safety protocols.
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and diagrams.
- Provide accurate reports on the location of underground utility lines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
