Job Summary
Peak Window Coverings is a growing, established business in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We currently employ a great team of professionals and are in need of an additional professional window covering installer to meet our customers needs.
We are seeking an entry level candidate who has a positive attitude , is energetic and willing to learn a new trade.
Candidates must:
Possess a great attitude and have motivation to work. We are willing to train for this position and for the special skills required for this field, but a moderate technical understanding and mechanical aptitude are essential to success. A general understanding of construction techniques and use of hand and power tools is required.
Candidate must be presentable and professional to Residential, Commercial and Government clientele.
Must submit to a drug screen prior to employment, and allow us to run a detailed background check (both required for government work).
Expected hours for this position are Monday - Thursday 8-5:30p and Friday 8- 12 Noon.
Must be able to safely lift 75 lbs, and be fit to meet the physical demands of this profession.
Must not be afraid of heights or working safely on ladders, lifts and scaffolding ( often in excess of 15 feet)
Must have a GREAT attitude toward customers.
The breakdown of this position is as follows-
Approx. 25% of the week will be fulfilling warehousing duties, which includes but is not limited to checking in and processing received product, entering the data onto spreadsheets, ordering small materials such as fasteners, adhesives etc for projects. Training provided.
Approx. 25% of the week will be completing repairs and cleaning of window treatments. Training provided.
Approx. 50% of the week will be assisting current installers and performing installations of window coverings. This will include residential, commercial and government projects. Training provided.
Minimal travel may be required throughout the year as required by project need. We do work all along the front range, From Denver to Southern Colorado.
We provide all specialty tools required as well as a work vehicle to use for on the job duties.
