Title: Administrative Assistant
FSLA: Non-Exempt
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. High school graduate or equivalent with some advanced training or education in administrative functions.
2. Three years related work experience.
3. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for both formal and informal communications.
4. Professional demeanor and advanced interpersonal skills.
5. Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
6. Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and also as a member of a team.
7. Knowledge of appropriate software including Microsoft Office suite.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

Provides administrative support to assigned team members,
Performs general clerical tasks including correspondence, filing, copying, document distributions, record keeping, and proofreading.
Answers phone calls with other office personnel.
Receives all visitors to the office.
Facilitates afternoon dismissal of children safely and efficiently.
Purchases and completes appropriate paperwork for center.
Utilizes childcare enrollment and attendance software, ProCare, to enhance office efficiency.
Assists with the enrollment process.
Maintains and update files, records, and other documents in electronic and/or paper format.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
2. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
3. Ability to operate basic office equipment.
4. Pays attention to detail and has highly organized work habits.
5. Demonstrates initiative and self-direction.
6. Exhibits flexibility and patience in working with all children, families, and staff.

10. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and lift to 35 pounds unassisted.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $39,000.00 per year
