Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- A/V System Maintenance: Ensure functionality of A/V systems by identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving failures.
- Maintain a detailed troubleshooting log of all system issues and resolution activities.
- Conduct periodic maintenance and inspections, logging all PMI activities.
On-Site Support and Training: - Train personnel in the use of A/V and conference room equipment. Provide support to resolve equipment-related issues.
- Resolve reported issues within one (1) week. For extended outages, notify the Project Lead with progress updates and supporting documentation.
- Mitigate IA equipment risks by performing required scans and resolving identified issues.
- Maintain system software updates for IA purposes, including antivirus definition updates.
Inventory Management: - Maintain accurate inventory lists for all A/V equipment and software. Document serial numbers of new, broken, or replaced equipment.
Utilize, interpret, and generate technical drawings, documentation, and lessons learned.
Share knowledge with team members across sites to support enterprise consistency.
Reporting: - Submit monthly status reports and PMI logs to the supervisor.
What You'll Need to Success
- Security Clearance:
- TS/SCI clearance required, with the ability to pass a CI Polygraph interview.
- Technical Skills and Certifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in A/V system operations and maintenance (O&M).
- Knowledge in the following areas within the past 5 years:
- Low voltage wiring and cabling.
- Soldering and connector termination.
- Equipment rack wiring and assembly.
- Integration of audio/video teleconferencing systems.
- Cable termination (Fiber, copper, audio).
- Analog, SDI, and HD-SDI signal processing and conversion.
- Ability to earn CompTIA Security CE certification within six (6) months of hire.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Additional Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Effective oral and written communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Strong multitasking and detail-oriented abilities.
