PEAKE is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to oversee the operational and administrative aspects of network infrastructure projects, including managing personnel schedules, team coordination, travel logistics, and budget tracking. The ideal candidate will have experience managing resources and financial aspects of IT and network installation projects in a DoD or government environment, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with policies.
Responsibilities:
• Provide oversight and direction to project managers and team leads.
• Manage and coordinate team schedules, ensuring proper coverage and rotation for project needs.
• Oversee travel arrangements, including logistics, per diem tracking, and travel expense approvals.
• Monitor and manage Other Direct Costs (ODCs) associated with project execution.
• Review and approve expense reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and government/contract regulations.
• Track and manage project budgets, providing regular financial reports and updates to leadership.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for administrative and operational support related to the project.
• Facilitate team dynamics, ensuring effective communication and conflict resolution.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, government regulations, and industry best practices.
• Work closely with stakeholders, including government officials, internal teams, and vendors, to ensure smooth project execution.
• Maintain proper documentation and reporting related to project expenses, schedules, and team management.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
• 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on team coordination, budget management, and logistics.
• Experience managing rotating schedules, travel logistics, and financial reporting for government or DoD contracts.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage team dynamics effectively.
• Familiarity with project budgeting, financial tracking, and compliance reporting.
• Proficiency in project management tools and financial tracking software.
• PMP certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Clearance
• Active DoD Clearance (Secret or above) preferred.
Location
• Millersville, MD (flexible/hybrid work schedule)
Travel
• Up to 25% travel required
