Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Monitor and record residents’ vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
- Help residents with mobility, including transfers and repositioning
- Provide assistance with toileting and incontinence care
- Respond to resident call lights and assist with other needs in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Assist with the administration of medications as directed by nursing staff
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
- Report any changes in a resident’s condition to the supervising nurse
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards
- Current CNA certification in New Mexico
- Previous experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing excellent care
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Must be able to lift, bend, and perform physical tasks related to resident care
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
