Your Impact
Wind Turbine Site O&M Technicians operate and maintain the assigned Wind Turbine site by optimizing wind generation, availability, and performance through established procedures with the highest regard for health, safety, and environment compliance. Wind Turbine O&M technicians carry out tasks such as cleaning, organizing, assembly, service, troubleshooting and/or repairs to wind turbine generators and related equipment and facilities. Certified Wind Turbine Technicians must maintain all certifications required for the position. While the Wind Turbine O&M technician is assigned to a specific site, occasional travel may be required (5% to 10%). The position is considered a local job and is not eligible to earn regular per diem.

Core Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and identify root cause of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical malfunctions.
- Work with site leadership to execute all contractual obligations and activities set forth with the customers daily, which can include any portion of the electrical, mechanical, or balance-of-plant equipment on site.
- Lead and/or assist with other daily work activities, related to all areas of site operations, as directed by manager, with minimal supervision.
- Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records, using computer-based service reporting tools and procedures.
- Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally per the Pearce Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.
Core Experience
- 3-5 years troubleshooting and/or maintenance on Wind Turbines.
- Knowledge of wind turbine mechanics 2-3 years preferred
- Inventory control experience preferred
- Ability and willingness to read and understand electrical schematic drawings.
- Ability and willingness to read and interpret technical manuals, procedures, and regulations.
At Pearce safety is our number one concern.
- Ability and willingness to climb a wind turbine vertically at least 300 feet.
- Maintain a weight between 120 and 280 pounds, including clothing and boots, for OSHA safety compliance.
- Lift and move equipment as needed (more than 50 pounds).
- Work in an indoor or outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions with blowing pollen, dust, and grasses.
- Ability to walk up to 3 miles per day on terrain such as gravel, pavement, grass, etc.
