Your Impact:
As a Billing Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our billing and revenue operations. You will manage large datasets, support process improvements, and provide insightful data analysis to guide decision-making across teams. Your work will directly impact the company’s ability to deliver timely and accurate invoicing, enhance system workflows, and drive financial accuracy and transparency. This role supports strategic initiatives across Finance, Accounting, and Operations.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Billing Operations & Analysis:
Process large volumes of billing data with accuracy and attention to detail
Analyze revenue data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities
Perform daily processing of Approved Sales Orders (SOs) for invoice generation
Ensure accuracy and reconciliation of data across Salesforce, NetSuite, and other systems
Maintain billing records and resolve discrepancies quickly and efficiently
Workflow Management & Collaboration:
Import and update critical operational records (Sales Orders, Service Requests, Expenses, etc.)
Build dashboards and reporting tools that reflect workflows and Work in Progress (WIP)
Collaborate with internal departments and customers to resolve billing-related inquiries
Support accurate revenue recognition processes in partnership with Finance
2024 Sales Order (SO) Initiative – Specialized Focus:
Align SO usage with billing requirements per program
Train teams on SO best practices and workbook usage
Optimize workflows and reduce invoice carryovers
Analyze invoice creation/submission patterns and recommend efficiencies
Act as NetSuite data gatekeeper; monitor open invoices with billing/collections teams
Process Improvement & Future Implementation Support:
Participate in billing system upgrades and implementation projects
Recommend workflow enhancements and streamline data import processes
Provide training and support for billing tools and new procedures
CORE EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to manage and analyze large data sets
Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with financial regulations and revenue recognition principles
Experience with NetSuite (required); Salesforce and/or other financial platforms (preferred)
Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to accuracy and deadlines
Education & Professional Background:
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
Combined 6 years of professional experience, including:
3–4 years in billing, accounts receivable, or similar roles
Experience in project implementation or system optimization is a plus
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of SQL or other data processing tools
Familiarity with GAAP or IFRS standards
Background in high-volume or fast-growth environments
Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle
Compensation: $20.00/HR to $26.00/HR DOE
Preferred location Hybrid: Paso Robles and Tehachapi ( remote will be considered )
