Local Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician II Position at PEARCE

Job Summary:
This position involves carrying out daily tasks such as cleaning, organizing, minor service, and/or repairs to wind turbine generators and related equipment and facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance of equipment (fueling, lubrication, etc.)
- Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally
- Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records using computer-based service reporting tools and procedures
- Utilize various torque and tension tools
- Perform other daily work requirements as directed by supervisor with general supervision
Requirements:
- Two years of experience in wind maintenance required
- GWO Certified (preferred)
- Ability to work within confined space areas, such as inside a wind turbine nacelle
- Ability to meet customer and company standards required of position and job, including following project schedules
Physical/Work Environment:
- Ability and willingness to climb a wind turbine vertically at least 300 feet
- Maintain a weight between 120 and 280 pounds, including clothing and boots, for OSHA safety compliance
- Lift and move equipment as needed (more than 50 pounds)
- Work in an indoor or outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions with blowing pollen, dust, and grasses
