Your Impact:
Pearce is seeking a skilled Survey Drafting Specialist to process field data, title work, and other critical information for the completion of topographic and engineering design surveys. This role involves creating ALTA/NSPS Title surveys, Land Survey/Record of Survey plats, subdivisions, legal descriptions, and other survey products. The ideal candidate will utilize technical expertise in computer applications, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD with Carlson, geodesy, coordinate system adjustments, database management, and both verbal and electronic communication with clients and subcontractors. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

The ideal candidate will utilize technical expertise in computer applications, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD with Carlson, geodesy, coordinate system adjustments, database management, and both verbal and electronic communication with clients and subcontractors. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage emails and ensure proper filing of project data.
- Process field data while collaborating with the field services team and coordinating daily with the supervisor and network surveyors.
- Prepare for field activities by ordering public utility locates and ensuring all necessary resources are in place.
- Draft improvements, utilities, and detailed survey drawings while performing zoning and floodplain research.
- Process surfaces, create contours, trace record boundaries, write legal descriptions, and conduct title research and searches for a second
- Create detailed survey drawings for improvements and utilities, including zoning and floodplain research, surface processing, and contour generation.
- Trace boundaries, conduct boundary placement, draft Title B2 Exceptions, write legal descriptions, and perform independent title research with title searches.
- Ensure timely project delivery with high-quality standards and provide training and support to staff as needed. Perform geodesy and datum adjustments to ensure survey accuracy and resolve boundary and survey-related issues.
- Implement geodesy and datum adjustments while resolving boundary and other survey-related issues.
- Minimum of 3 years in survey drafting; field experience preferred.
- Strong general computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Advanced AutoCAD skills, ideally with Carlson experience.
- Familiarity with geodesy, coordinate system adjustments, and database management.
- Ability to adopt and work within company drafting standards and systems.

Salary : $20 - $32
