Who We're Looking For
Pearl is looking for a Machine Learning Scientist with at least 5 years of industry experience. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the machine learning models that power Pearl's products. You will be working on both 2-D and 3-D medical imaging problems alongside a team of like-minded engineers in order to improve the performance of our machine learning pipeline and to prototype and deliver CV-driven solutions. This role requires proficiency with Python, Machine Learning, and Statistics. The ideal candidate is rigorously scientific and a savvy engineer.
- Assess and implement methods from relevant literature utilizing open source Vision / Math tools such as Tensorflow and PyTorch
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FullStack, Product) to build products, share learnings, and vice versa
- Build upon existing solutions to optimize for performance, reliability, and scalability
- Write and maintain clean and modular code to deploy in production environment
- Work to iteratively improve core model performance
- Contribute to active research communities through conference / journal publications, meetups, and workshops
