Duties
- Develop and manage individualized care plans for patients, ensuring all necessary information is documented accurately.
- Conduct insurance verification for patients to ensure coverage for treatments.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment options, answering any questions they may have about their care.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while handling phone calls and in-person inquiries, demonstrating exceptional phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with dental team to ensure all treatment protocols are followed and that patient needs are met promptly.
- Stay updated on dental terminology and codes to facilitate accurate documentation and communication within the team.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the overall efficiency of the practice.
Experience
- Previous experience as a dentalreceptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Familiarity with insurance plans, insurance verification processes.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and ICD-9 coding will be beneficial in performing job duties effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and staff alike.
