Summary / Objective
The Markets Operations Assistants are ambassadors to Pearl. The Markets Operations Assistants are accountable for maintaining a safe, enjoyable Markets experience that drives guest traffic and enables Pearl to attract and retain the best makers, producers and artists.
Essential Functions
Market Setup / Vendor Support :
- Assist with setting up signage, tables, tents, and other necessary equipment at the start of market days.
- Communicate with vendors before and during market days to ensure they have everything they need.
- Accountable for successful vendor setup to include resolution of issues of setup / tear down that arise and ensure that all vendors comply with market regulations, health and safety standards, and guidelines.
- Break-down after market hours, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and vendors pack up efficiently.

Competencies
Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment and handle physical tasks (lifting, setting up displays, etc.) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends; minimum 16 hours per week.
