What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Associate (Bike Patrol) position at Pearl Real Estate Company?
This position is responsible for the protection, safeguarding and security of assets, personnel, customers and guests for the properties Mustang Security oversees.
Essential Functions:
Provide a visual security presence
Conduct thorough patrols by bicycle, on foot or occasionally by gold cart
Make regular security checks for doors, windows, gates, mechanical rooms, fire exits as requested by the client or to guard trespassers or unauthorized entry
Respond to alarms and react accordingly to protocol
Contact police, fire department or EMS as needed and assist in evacuations as emergency conditions dictate
Engage in conflict de-escalation whenever possible, tactfully advise guests if safety infractions, report safety concerns or maintenance repairs
Conduct excellent guest service by providing direction or offering assistance in a proactive manner
Work Environment:
This position is mostly shiftwork that is outdoors on a 24-hour basis, year-round
Physical Demands:
This position requires significant physical movement, to include walking, running, riding a bicycle, lifting items up to 50 pounds, climbing, stooping, pivoting.

Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
State of Texas non-Commissioned Officer certification a plus but not required
