Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Head Start/Early Head Start Director, the Early Childhood Development/ Education Coordinator will be responsible for activities relating to managing and monitoring PRVO’s Head Start / Early Head Start Program to ensure compliance with Performance Standards, Licensure, state and local regulations and other directives. The Early Childhood /Education Coordinator will also be responsible for other management duties as assigned. This position is located in the Hattiesburg Admin Office and scheduled to work twelve months per year.
Education & Experience
Minimum – Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
Minimum of five years of experience supervising and overseeing day-to-day operations of center staff in an Early Childhood Education setting. Must have excellent writing and oral communication skills.
Must have Preschool/Infant Toddler CLASS Reliability certification.
Must have at least five years of experience in licensing an Early Childhood Center Child Care Regulations Training.
