JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
Position: Family Engagement Worker Location(s): Forrest County
Salary: $17.84 per hour Work Hours: 7 hours/day
Work Year: 10 months/year
Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Family/Community Engagement Coordinator, the Family Engagement Worker will provide services through case management for preschool/Early Head Start enrollees and their families; assist families in the development and implementation of individualized Family Partnership Agreements that describe family goals, responsibilities, timetables and strategies for achieving the goals and progress; actively participate in the recruitment/enrollment process; prepare reports with the completion of health services and follow up for the enrollee and document all activities or engagement.
Qualifications:
Minimum requirement is a B.S. Degree in Social Work or related field.
Licensed Social Worker with a B.S. Degree in Social Work is preferred.
Experience:
Two (2) years case management experience working with children and families in a child care program or other comparable social agencies.
