Daycare Floater

Job Title: Childcare Floater (Morning Shift)
Location: Pearl’s Childcare Learning Center and Pearl’s Too, Waldorf, MD
Hours: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Monday – Friday)

Job Description:
Pearl’s is seeking a reliable and energetic Childcare Floater to support our team in the mornings. This role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations, assisting with meal distribution, and providing classroom coverage as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with opening the center and preparing for the day.
• Greet children and help them transition into their classrooms.
• Distribute breakfast and lunch to students, ensuring meals meet dietary guidelines.
• Provide coverage in classrooms as needed, supporting teachers with daily activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment in the common areas and meal service spaces.
• Follow all center policies and licensing regulations.
• Engage positively with children, staff, and families to create a welcoming environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a childcare or school setting preferred.
• Ability to work with children of various age groups.
• Dependable, flexible, and able to adapt to different classroom needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must pass a background check and meet all childcare licensing requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
