Pearl's is seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Pre-Kindergarten Teacher to join our educational team. As an Assistant Pre-Kindergarten Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of our students, helping them develop foundational skills that will serve them throughout their academic journey.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain classroom discipline and promote respectful interactions among students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their child's development.
- Collaborate with special education staff to support students with diverse learning needs, including those on the autism spectrum.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding classroom activities, student progress, and any concerns that may arise.
- Foster social-emotional development through play-based learning activities and group interactions.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment conducive to learning.
Experience
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working in daycare or preschool settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential.
- Familiarity with special education strategies and behavior management techniques is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Previous experience in private school settings is advantageous but not required.
