We’re looking for a hands-on, forward-thinking Assistant Branch Manager to help lead our growing pool construction operations. This role supports and learns from the Branch Manager, while taking the lead on various projects related to pool plastering, renovations, and construction. Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of the branch, with a focus on plastering, renovations, and all related construction services.
  • Oversee assigned pool builds and renovation projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines, budgets, and customer expectations are met.
  • Help manage the scheduling of crews and subcontractors to maintain maximum efficiency.
  • Support and manage the hiring, development, and performance of Project Managers, Admin staff, Warehouse teams, and subcontractors.

Financial Oversight

  • Manage project budgets, bids, billing, and financial tracking.
  • Review and contribute to the branch’s annual budget planning.
  • Monitor branch P&L statements (monthly, quarterly, annually), ensuring accuracy and providing key insights.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Receivable to ensure timely billing and collection of deposits and final payments.
  • Assist in minimizing branch debt and actively pursue outstanding receivables.

Sales & Growth

  • Collaborate with the sales team to grow direct, builder, and renovation customer bases.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of renovation leads and referral sources.
  • Assist in sales efforts as needed and help identify new revenue opportunities.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and key partners.

Customer & Team Engagement

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers during project execution.
  • Handle warranty concerns with professionalism, always keeping customer satisfaction and company reputation top of mind.
  • Represent the company professionally in all interactions—appearance, attitude, and communication.

Facilities & Fleet Management

  • Oversee the branch fleet, ensuring proper maintenance and operation.
  • Maintain the physical condition and organization of the branch facility, including the yard, warehouse, and office areas.

Reporting & Communication

  • Provide regular updates to senior management on project and branch performance.
  • Take on special assignments and strategic projects to support business goals.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and excellence across departments and locations.

What We’re Looking For

  • Prior experience in pool construction, renovations, or a related industry strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing teams, schedules, and budgets in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and financial management.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities and shifting priorities.
  • A collaborative mindset and passion for growing both people and business.
  • Proficiency with construction management or scheduling software is a plus.
