General Manager
Position Overview:
We are looking for a General Manager to oversee all staff, budgets and operations of the local business unit. General Manager responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, managing people and establishing policies. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive, while ensuring our profits are on the rise.
Essential Duties Include, But Not Limited To:
- Day to Day operations of the assigned location
- Oversee all sales (B2B and Direct) either personally or through a sales staff (once established) including bids
- Oversee all crews
- Schedule all phases of work with appropriate crews
- Build a strong team, while growing the business
- Comply with all Local and State Regulations (where applicable)
- Drive the business towards the agreed upon budget set forth by the company President/CEO
- Reporting to the corporate office of administrative items (billing, payables, payroll...etc)
- Participate in any/all corporate meetings
- All other duties as assigned.
Key skills/experience:
- Prior swimming pool construction/renovation experience with sales and running of crews
- High School Diploma/GED (Required)
- Ability to build a strong team and culture
- Ability to put the hours needed to run a successful business
- Have clean driving record
- Ability to travel as needed to job sites, meetings...etc within the assigned territory
- Current CDL Class A or B, or be willing to obtain
- Bilingual (preferred)
- Maintain a professional appearance.
