Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting and fitting eyewear, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring accurate prescription orders.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting frames that complement their appearance and meet their prescription needs
- Take precise measurements to ensure proper fit of eyeglasses
- Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and materials
- Adjust and repair eyewear as needed
- Maintain accurate customer records and prescription orders
- Collaborate with optometrists to ensure accurate prescriptions
-Contact lens knowledge, including I&R classes
Qualifications
- Strong background in retail sales and medical terminology
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and aseptic technique
-Proficient in billing insurance claims

-Ability to handle day to day office procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
