In this role, you will own the end-to-end UX Design process for one or more web-based applications within our product suite. You'll work alongside our team of highly skilled Designers to collaborate on design solutions, ensure quality, and create a cohesive user experience. You'll work on a cross-functional team with access to cutting-edge technology to create modern, intuitive solutions for authoring and learning.What you'll do : Produce a variety of design deliverables including wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and dev-ready designsChampion user-centric design principles, accessibility, and inclusivityConduct research and analyze existing products to identify opportunities for improvementWork closely with Solutions Managers, Business Analysts, and Stakeholders to align design solutions with business objectives and user feedbackPartner with Engineers to understand technical constraints and ensure designs are feasibleContribute to and maintain a unified Design System across productsShare and receive constructive feedback to refine and elevate the user experiencePresent research and designs for feedback from peers and stakeholdersEssential Skills and Experience : Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience5 or more years of proven experience in User Experience, User Research or Digital DesignExperience designing web applicationsExperience with UI / UX design software (Figma is preferred)Worked in Agile environments and proficient with project management software such as Jira or AsanaProficient in Microsoft Office suite products (or other office suite products)Excellent creative problem-solving skills. Ability to parse ideas, research, and design constraints to move conversations forward and determine the best solutionExcellent organization, communication, and presentation skillsAbility to perform efficiently and effectively with minimal oversightDesired Skills and Experience : Passion for the future of Education and AIExperience within Education, Publishing, or MediaExperience creating or implementing Design systems, or familiarity with design system conceptsFamiliarity with front end development concepts and frameworksExperience working in a distributed team across time zones and regions
