Summary :
Pearson is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for its clinical assessment wearable technology team. This individual will lead data science efforts in areas of model development and refinement, data collection and exploratory data analysis. This position is geared towards individuals who appreciate working on new, novel technologies and enjoy working with likeminded team members to carve new paths in emerging fields of wearable technology and clinical application.
Location : Raleigh / Durham, NC - Hybrid position working 4 days remote, 1 day in-office
Responsibilities :
- Work with our software and clinical teams to develop, test and refine machine learning models.
- Deploy models to cloud
- Explore and evaluate large data sets
- Assist with design of data collection exercises
- Develop novel features and applications of technology
- Solve complex problems
- Ability to work independently with little to no guidance in some situations
