Full Job Description
Drysdale Property Management is seeking a full-time experienced accounting individual for its Alameda Location. Position will cover a wide range of accounting and business support functions providing a diverse work experience.
Responsibilities:
- All aspects of accounting for property owners and corporate accounts with a focus on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable management
- Focuses heavily on client interaction such as handling property owners’ inquiries on monthly payments and assist property owners with any accounting needs
- Cash applications for rent, security deposit and any corporate income
- Addresses concerns for vendor payments
- Assists property manager in review of lease and lease set up processes
- Participates in month end financials including but not limited to bank reconciliation and budget
- Analyzing monthly cash flow and report discrepancies or issues to the General Manager
- 1099 preparation, property taxes, business license and any reporting as needed
- Provide guidance and training for one accounting assistant
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 1 year or more of experience in general accounting
- Strong computer skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to multi task
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team fast paced environment
- Microsoft Applications a plus
- Property Management software required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
