What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Construction Superintendent "As Needed" position at Pearson's Rental Properties Inc.?
We are a Brand-New Grading and Excavating Company and as the Civil Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for all site work regarding Augusta Landworks. The Superintendent needs to both manage his crew and site while communicating and working with Augusta Landworks Office personnel. All job information needs to be reported correctly, and intimate knowledge of the work completed and scheduled is expected.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Understand and provide input to job schedule. Assure Augusta Landworks is on schedule and communicate with the project manager to meet job budget. Attend scheduled sub-contractor meetings.
- Communicate with Project Manager and Field Supervisor (via email, text and/or phone call) on any project delays or changes.
- Create two week “look ahead” schedules every Monday – competent with Microsoft products or management software for review by/with Augusta Landworks management team.
- Complete Daily reports DAILY with all information pertaining to Augusta Landworks on a jobsite (including “no work” days).
- Engage in communications with general contractor to continue job progress on a daily basis.
- Assist Project Manager with cost estimates of labor, supplies, materials, and other project costs for change orders.
- Able to read site plans and identify any concerns with associated schedule.
- Coordinate sub-contractors to work within our job schedule.
- Operate any/all site equipment to perform such tasks but not limited to pipe installation, site grading, or material loading (on an as needed basis).

Pay: $77,105.00 - $83,423.00 per year
