Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tree Climber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and landscaping, with experience in tree trimming and maintenance. This role involves climbing trees to perform various tasks related to tree care, ensuring the health and aesthetics of our clients' landscapes. The Tree Climber will work closely with a team to provide high-quality services while adhering to safety protocols.
Duties
- Perform tree trimming and pruning to maintain the health and appearance of trees.
- Operate bucket trucks and other equipment safely for elevated work.
- Utilize rigging techniques to lower branches safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections of trees for signs of disease or damage.
- Assist in lawn care and landscape maintenance as needed.
- Maintain equipment, including bucket trucks and climbing gear, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute tree care projects effectively.
- Document work performed using GIS technology when applicable.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tree trimming, lawn care, or landscape maintenance is preferred.
- Familiarity with rigging techniques and safe bucket truck operation.
- Knowledge of tree care practices and principles.
- Ability to work at heights and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in tree care or landscaping are a plus.

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

- 10 hour shift
- 4 hour shift

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
- Weekends only
- Year round work
