Role : Jr. Project Manager- Senior Executive Assistant
Location : Providence, RI
Duration : One Year Contract with possibility of extensions.
The candidate for this position will support a high level state official by performing the most complex administrative and supportive tasks. This person will be the primary support staff to the CDO / CIO.
- Providing administrative support (calendar management for the CDO / CIO and other I.T. leadership staff; answering phones; greeting visitors; ordering supplies, handling incoming and outgoing correspondence).
- Making travel arrangements, preparation for travel and other related duties
- Processing requests for new positions, replacement positions and other related Human Resource requests
- Coordinating with the Central Business Office on IT-related expenses
- Attending meetings as needed and relaying action items across IT and between IT and other agencies.
- Leading / coordinating small to mid-projects (example : facility space management)
- Arranging special events and IT events (All hands meeting) - working with universities etc. for peer networking / IT advisory, working with local companies
- Acting as a liaison with key vendors and associations
