The Harbor Master oversees the boating and sailing activities in Stillwater Cove.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• ·      Maintain order and cleanliness of the pier.
• ·      Ensure the safety of those using the pier.
• ·      Operate whaler, stairs, and boat hoist when needed.
• ·      Oversee sailing program by assisting the instructor.
• ·      Assist Stillwater Yacht Club with events.
• ·      Oversee all diving activities, including equipment drop-off and parking.
• ·      Provide information on weather and tides.
• ·      Comply with all Pebble Beach Company safety and health policies and procedures.

Absolutely Required Skills: 

• 5 to 10 years of boating and sailing experience.
• Familiarity with all aspects of boating and sailing including safety, minor repair and tidal conditions. 
• Must be able to swim and lift safely.

Desired Skills: 

• Must be able to interact with members in a professional manner.
