The Resort Greeter provides an exceptional arrival experience for day visitors by warmly welcoming guests to Pebble Beach Resorts. Provide information regarding local dining, shopping and other attractions. Offer directions to various Food & Beverage outlets, retail outlets, guest rooms, pro shops, and provide general information during the Lodge Main Building Renovation.

Job Summary:

The Resort Greeter provides an exceptional arrival experience for day visitors by warmly welcoming guests to Pebble Beach Resorts. Provide information regarding local dining, shopping and other attractions. Offer directions to various Food & Beverage outlets, retail outlets, guest rooms, pro shops, and provide general information during the Lodge Main Building Renovation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• ·        Greet and interact with guests as they pass by the Gallery Café restaurant.
•          Provide information on all local activities, attractions, shopping and restaurants.
• ·        Use guests’ names and recognize return guests, whenever possible.
• ·        Answer questions and provide information on daily functions taking place at the resort.
• ·        Handle special requests from guests.
•          Assist with other duties as assigned by the Director of Rooms.
•     Comply with all Pebble Beach Company policies and procedures including health and safety.
• ·   Know, model and integrate Pebble Beach Company culture (Mission, Values and Standards).

Absolutely Required Skills: 

• ·      Excellent customer service skills
• ·      Warm and outgoing personality.
• ·      Excellent communication skills. Ability to give clear directions.
• ·      Must be well informed about the resort, area, local activities, retail shops, resort restaurants, services and attractions.  
• ·      Must have a passion for Pebble Beach.
• ·      Able to work a flexible schedule including possible nights, weekends and holidays.

Desired Skills: 

• ·      Foreign language a plus but not required - Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Chinese.
