Role: Sr Manager, Production Operations
Location: Fremont, CA
As Sr. Manager for Production Operations at Pebble you will play a pivotal founding role in our Manufacturing and Production Operations, meeting production forecasts and driving continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing process. Working closely with our internal teams to ensure quality, safety and direction to the entire production team while also offering hands-on support. As part of this role, you will have the unique opportunity to help build and scale the production organization, influencing not only associates as they on-board but our manufacturing and quality teams as well.

Role: Sr Manager, Production Operations
Location: Fremont, CA
As Sr. Manager for Production Operations at Pebble you will play a pivotal founding role in our Manufacturing and Production Operations, meeting production forecasts and driving continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing process. Working closely with our internal teams to ensure quality, safety and direction to the entire production team while also offering hands-on support. As part of this role, you will have the unique opportunity to help build and scale the production organization, influencing not only associates as they on-board but our manufacturing and quality teams as well.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily production planning, delivery to plan, production cost, (FTT) first time yield, safety, quality targets, and production staffing.
- Develop and maintain high production quality, safety and yield while ensuring optimal cost, use of resources and adherence to best safety practices.
- Maintain the facility and equipment in optimal operating conditions through implementation of a preventative maintenance system and taking appropriate corrective actions where needed
- Hire, coach, lead and develop large scale teams made up of salaried and hourly team members
- Support upgrades, new product and material introductions by supporting design teams, creating process plans, tracking budget costs and project schedules and developing countermeasures for timely completion of project goals
- Drive Safety, Environmental and Factory compliance
- Develop high quality standards in everything we do such as process control systems, monitoring and managing key product metrics, consistency in documentation, and 5S initiatives
- Deliver continuous improvement initiatives in safety, environmental, quality, cost, efficiency, and productivity objectives. Provide feedback to management on issues; benchmark other organizations for best practices.
- Lead by example of positive reinforcement and make Pebble a Best-in-Class Manufacturing organization
- Collaborate across boundaries for the best outcome by working with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Test and Quality departments
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent job experience
- 10 years experience in developing manufacturing program to ramp production, with 5 years in manufacturing leadership
- Experience with fast-paced organizations and able to drive collaboration across functions and levels within the business
- Hands-on mindset – the role will require interacting with production associates, internal teams, and our vehicles
- ERP/Spreadsheet/Presentation skills/JIRA/confluence
- Ideal candidate is analytical, detail oriented, self-motivated, well organized and able to pro-actively communicate with all employees
