Pebbles Preschool, a ministry of The Rock Church, is looking for a dedicated, creative, hard-working Infant Teacher to join our team! Experience is required for this role. We are a Christian based school whose purpose is to provide quality care and education to children in the Reno/Sparks area. **This is a full time position (8 hour shift Monday-Friday)**
Responsibilities:
-Plan and implement activities that encourage children’s curiosity, exploration, and problem-solving.
-Provide the children with age-appropriate activities that promote physical, intellectual, and social growth.
-Adapt teaching methods and curriculum to meet student’s varying needs and abilities.
-Develop and execute lesson plans.
-Incorporate Christian values and Biblical principals into daily curriculum and activities.
-Help children develop problem-solving skills.
-Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
-Oversee safety in and out of the classroom.
-Provide a supportive and safe environment where children can learn and practice appropriate behaviors.
-Understand all school policies and procedures.
-Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, families and coworkers.
-Completing initial childcare trainings and fulfilling 24 hours of continuing education per licensing year.
-Other duties as assigned.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Patient and engaging personality.

-Displays a passion for teaching preschool children.
-Knowledge of early learning curriculum and child development.
-A positive mindset towards child learning and development.

-Flexible and adaptable, willing to fill in when required.
-Familiarity with the licensing requirements of the State of Nevada.
