- Any other metal foils like Copper or Titanium zinc upon customer request
Job Summary
The Production Lead is responsible to learn and train others on every machine or work area listed for production. They are the main first point of contact for machine or ERP issues. They are responsible for the flow of production on the floor. The Lead will also be the main validator for jobs during the setup process. The Lead is expected to operate a machine if necessary to ensure on time delivery of products. The Lead is to make sure that all machine and floor employees are always wearing the required PPE.
Other tasks may be assigned as they arise that will also include:
- Ensure that team members follow defined manufacturing procedures and comply with quality requirements
- Ensure equipment are all functioning correctly
- Ensure all records are completed appropriately
- Ensure that quality concerns are addressed and followed up
- Maintain visible lead for adherence to procedures and instructions
- Monitor change over and/or line set up efficiency
- Prepare line set-ups for following shifts, including first piece buyoffs
- Undertake continuous training and development
- Identify business improvement opportunities within the organization
- Recommending operational changes
- Assessing risks
- Ensuring safety guidelines are followed
- Resolving production problems
- Participation in conducting performance evaluations
- Giving and receiving employee feedback
- Training employees
- Facilitating team participation
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a manufacturing facility or warehouse environment; lead experience preferred.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while promoting a positive work culture.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm
