About the Role: PEC Water is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in project management and policy development related to natural resources, watershed planning, climate change, stormwater management, and resiliency projects. As a key member of our water resources team, you will lead high-impact projects for clients such as the City of Portland Bureau of Environmental Services (BES), and other major organizations. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of complex projects involving natural systems, stormwater management, climate adaptation, and green infrastructure.
- Coordinate and manage multi-stakeholder engagements with minimal oversight, ensuring alignment and collaboration among diverse groups.
- Develop and deliver high-quality documentation, including briefing materials, legislative and budget proposals, technical reports, and presentations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on water resources, watershed planning, and sustainability practices.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, contributing to a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
What We’re Looking For:
- 10 years of experience in project management within the water resources, environmental, or related engineering fields.
- Proven expertise in delivering complex projects focused on stormwater management, natural systems, climate change adaptation, and green infrastructure.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a track record of preparing a variety of documents, including policy briefs, proposals, and technical reports.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders, clients, and team members.
