POSITION DESCRIPTION
TITLE: MARINA MAINTENANCE WORKER
CLASSIFICATION: Nonexempt
GRADE: 2

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Under the direct supervision of the Marina Manager the marina maintenance worker is responsible for all tasks related to the maintenance and repair of Marina facilities, equipment, and building structure.
REPORTS TO: Marina Manager
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establishes a preventive maintenance program for all equipment and systems
- Repairs of plumbing fixtures and supporting equipment
- Makes electrical repairs as needed
- Performs rough and finish carpentry
- Paints a variety of textured surfaces
- Utilizes a variety of shop tools such as saws, planers, nail guns, etc.
- Responds to maintenance issues from management and employees
- Provides cost estimates for maintenance projects
- Knowledge of boat dock repairs and equipment repairs
- Other duties as assigned by Marina Manager
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- One year technical school in related field preferred
- Years of work experience in related fields may be considered in place of education
SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient in Electrical and Plumbing
- Carpentry
MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Experience in related fields a plus
