Description
Under the general supervision of the Controller, performs a variety of accounting tasks, some of which are of a professional accounting nature and require moderate independent thought and judgment. Must be able to follow procedures and processes developed by the Controller with close attention to detail on important accounting matters, including but not limited to reconciliation of account balances, account entries, assistance with financial audits and cost reports, invoicing and generating state reporting documents using both manual and automated systems.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Accounting experience with a minimum of 4 years of experience in data collection or accounting preferred. Excel spreadsheet skills as well as accounting software and general ledger experience required. A valid Texas driver’s license, a good driving record and a valid auto insurance card required.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES: MUST BE ABLE TO BEND, STOOP, KNEEL, CROUCH, SQUAT, LIFT AT LEAST 25 POUNDS, REACH OVERHEAD AND SIT FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD.
