Description
LVN to join mental health team in a fast paced Pecan Valley Centers Mental Health Clinic providing services to children and adults with serious mental illnesses and developmental disabilities. Monday through Friday (usual hours are 8am - 5pm). Minimal overtime.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- focused physical assessments (vital signs, EKG's, labs),
- prior authorizations
- timely concurrent computer documentation / prescription drug ordering
- injectable medication administration
- frequent phone, email, face to face and telemedicine interaction with physicians, ANPs, patients, caregivers, case managers, clinic manager, front office staff, insurance companies and pharmacies.
Region-wide travel required.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice as a Vocational nurse (LVN) in the state of Texas
- Some mental health experience preferred.
- Must have a stable employment history
- Be professional/diplomatic

PHYSICAL ABILITIES: Must be able to pass an agency required physical. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, squat, lift 25 pounds, sit for an extended period, and reach overhead.
Salary : $22 - $25
